i needed a wide pure nickel strip to use in conjunction with some self adhesive copper strip to make a simple voltaic cell mounted around the circumference of a cut plastic bottle. placed around plants like lettuce it should stop snails mounting the plastic shield as the voltaic effect of the dissimilar metals and the wet body of the snail creates an electric current. the rest i will use making a battery bank from a collection of lithium cells.
